Lamm mit Fahne, Marienkirche, Neustadt/Weinstraße

Halbrelief auf einer nahezu quadratischen Grundplatte aus Gips. Dargestellt ist ein blutendes Lamm mit Heiligenschein, mit Kelch und Fahne und symbolisiert das gleichzeitige Opfer und den Sieg des Christentums. Das Lamm steht auf einem aus der Grundplatte herausragenden Sims. Sein Kopf ist umrahmt von einem Heiligenschein. Das Lamm "hält" mit dem linken angehobenen Vorderbein eine Fahne (lange, wehende Fahne, deren Tuch am Ende in zwei Zipfel ausläuft und auf der ein Kreuz in Längsrichtung dargestellt ist. Sinnbild des Sieges des Christentums). Auf dem Boden vor dem Lamm steht ein Kelch, in den das Herzblut des Lammes fließt.
