Der Teller stammt aus der vormals reformierten Kirchengemeinde Spirkelbach im heutigen Landkreis Südliche Weinstraße. Er ist einer der wenigen Abendmahlsteller in der Pfalz mit einem aufwändiger gestalteten, geschweiften Rand.
