Die Vorderseite der Medaille zeigt im Vollprofil Dr. Karl Helfferich, Staatssekretär im Reichsschatzamt, der maßgeblich für die Kriegsfinanzierung des Deutschen Reiches durch Anleihen verantwortlich war. Unten links "Fr. Eue". Auf der ringsum durch einen Lorbeerkranz eingefassten Rückseite "Lieber jede Not als Feindes Gebot / Dr. Helfferich". Darunter "Reichstag 14. Dezember 1915". Wiederum darunter am unteren rechten Rand " Verl. Ball Berlin".
