Ölgemälde auf Leinwand, aufgezogen auf Keilrahmen, in schwerem, profiliertem Holzrahmen, unsigniert.

Kopfstück eines älteren Herren, von der Seite.

Es handelt sich um ein Porträt des Grünstadter Malermeisters und Hobbymalers Christian Elser (02.02.1871 in Grünstadt -- 23.06.1950 in Grünstadt, ehem. wohnhaft, Ringgasse 24, Grünstadt).

Gefertigt wurde es von seinem Schwiegersohn Karl Unverzagt, um 1940.

Geschenk von Ingrid Steinle, Grünstadt. Ursprünglich war das Bild ein Geschenk des Malers Karl Unverzagt an ihren verstorbenen Mann, Dr. Georg Steinle.
