Am 08. November 1942 fiel der Gefreite Karl Breuer bei Kämpfen in Afrika. Das Meßopfer wurde am 04. Januar 1972 für ihn in Bodendorf gehalten. Sein Bruder Hubert war zuvor am 23. Mai 1942 in Russland gefallen.
Aus dem Totenzettel ist ersichtlich, dass er nicht in Bodendorf/Ahr begraben wurde.
