Description

Dünnes Wellenrand-Hufeisen, Ruten mondsichelförmig, mit je 3 länglichen Löchern, am schmalen Rutenende ein mitgeschmiedeter, abgeschrägter Klinkstollen (auf einer Seite weggebrochen).

Sogenanntes Kreuzfahrerhufeisen, Hochmittelalter, um 1250.

Altbestand des 1903 gegründeten Altertumsvereins Grünstadt. Bodenfund, wohl in Grünstadt, alte Einlaufnummer 180, von 1908. Rückseitig Reste einer alten roten Nummer.
