Die Concordiahütte der Vereinigten Stahlwerke in Bendorf-Mülhofen brachte in den 1930-40er Jahren anlässlich des Neujahrs Eisengussplaketten heraus. Für das Neujahr 1938 wählte man folgendes Motiv: Auf einem Wappen ist mittig die Condordiahütte dargestellt. Auf dem Wappen steht ein nackter Knabe, der eine Gießpfanne hält. Bei der hier abgebildeten Plakette handelt es sich um einen Nachguss von Anton Schmidt aus der Zeit um 1973. Auf der Vorderseite ist oben links die Beschriftung "CH" (Concordiahütte) und am unteren Rand "1838 CONDORDIAHÜTTE 1938" zu erkennen. Die Neujahrsplakette war zum 100-jährigen Bestehen der Hütte herausgegeben worden.
