"Es Weschthower Gickelche" Die Westhofener Eisenbahn

"Gickelche", so nannte man im Volksmund die Eisenbahn welche in der Zeit 1888 bis 1953 zwischen Osthofen und Westhofen hin und zurück fuhr. Es war eine eingleisige, rund sechs Kilometer lange Nebenbahnlinie. 1958 wurde die Strecke stillgelegt.
