Description

Dieses Typometer aus Metall half dem Setzer bei der Umrechnung von typografischem Punkt in Zentimeter und umgekehrt. Am Nullpunkt besitzt es einen hakenförmigen Anschlag. Auf der Vorderseite ist links eine Zentimeter-Skala angebracht, rechts Teilungen in 2 Punkt und 48 Punkt. Auf der Rückseite befinden sich drei Teilungen in 8, 9 und 10 Punkt. So konnte man u. a. Schriftgrade, Kegelhöhe und Zeilenlänge kontrollieren und messen.
