Description

Schwarzweißfotografie als Postkarte gedruckt. Die Aufnahme zeigt viele Schaulustige auf der hölzernen Behelfsbrücke, die nach dem verheerenden Hochwasser im Februar 1909 zwischen Bendorf und Mülhofen gebaut worden war. Die Bendorfer Zeitung hatte am Freitag, 12.02.1909, auf Seite 3 vom Einsturz der ursprünglichen Brücke berichtet: "Am 10. Februar 1909, um 11 ½ Uhr stürzte die durch Hochwasser schwer beschädigte Brücke über die Provinzialstraße zwischen Bendorf und Mülhofen – Engers ein …“.
Auf der Vorderseite oben ist handschriftlich notiert: " Hochwasser Febr. 1909".
