Schwarzweißfotografie, sog. Carte-de-Visite. Dieses Portrait aus dem Jahr 1840 zeigt den Bendorfer Fabrikanten und Hüttenbesitzer Heinrich Wilhelm Remy (1787-1845). Er lebte mit seiner Familie im elterlichen Wohnhaus "Im Hof" am Entenbachhof in Bendorf, wo zuvor Kommerzienrat Wilhelm Remy bis zu seinem Tod im Jahr 1761 gewohnt hatte.
