Farbfotografie eines Gemäldes, welches das Portrait von Jeannette Remy (geb. Hoffmann) zeigt.
Jeannette Hoffmann wurde am 02. November 1786 in Bendorf Rhein als Tochter des Bendorfer Handelsherrn Wilhelm Anton Hoffmann, der an der Firma "Remy, Hoffmann & Co." mitbeteiligt war, geboren. Im Jahre 1809 heiratete sie Wilhelm Gideon Remy. Die beiden hatten neun gemeinsame Kinder.
Sie starb am 16. Juni 1865.
