Schwarzweißfotografie. Das Bild zeigt die Bimsstein-Fabrikation am Bendorfer Hafen. Im Hintergrund die Eisenbahnbrücke in Engerser (Kronprinzenbrücke um 1930) und das sog. Schlackehotel. Letzteres war als Empfangsgebäude für Passagiere der Rheindampfer erbaut worden und dient heute als Hafenamt.
