Description

Die beiden kleinen, ovalen Gouachen eines unbekannten Malers zeigen den Tod Marias und den Tod Josefs. Josef ist im Bettliegend dargestellt, neben ihm Maria (links) und Christus (rechts). Über dem Bett vor einem grünen Vorhang schwebt der Heilige Geist herab.
Trotz des kleinen Formats der Bilder sind die Apostel, die um das Bett der sterbenden Maria versammelt sind, präzise, individualisiert und ausdrucksstark dargestellt.
